Preteen Retreat 2019
June 1st and 2nd, 2019
This is the second your of our almost NEW ADVENTURE on the
preteen calendar. This should be amazing two days of fun outdoors for our kids grade 5, 6 and 7.
Meet at the Horse Shoe Bay Ferry Terminal at 09:20am sharp on Saturday June 1st. The group will travel as foot passengers to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast. Camp Elphinstone is walking distance from the ferry.
The weekend fun includes camp activities, games, campfire and worship, adventure and fun!
We will be heading back to Horse Shoe Bay Ferry Terminal on Sunday afternoon. Please be ready to pick up your children in HSB at 4:10pm.
Cost: $120 - includes return ferry, accommodation, lunch, dinner and snack on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday and all planned activities. Scholarships are available we don't want cost to be a deterrent to anyone please contact Michelle Jackson at
michj@nsac.bc.caSpace is limited and we encourage you to sign up and commit to the trip well in advance. We need to submit our final numbers to the camp by May 13th so we will be CLOSING REGISTRATION ON MAY 12th at midnight!
Payments are non-refundable as the retreat centre policies are strict. Cancellations will incur costs.
What To Bring:
• Bedding: Sleeping bag, pillow
• Changes of clothes appropriate for the weather
• Sturdy Shoes for walking
• Bathing suit, towel & Sunscreen
• Bathroom stuff
• Bible, Journal, Pen
• Flashlight and labelled water bottle
Please Don’t Bring: ANY FOOD, Lighters/Matches, Knives/Axes, Tech gadgets (including cell phones)
We will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged electronic devices.
Please note bags will be heat treated on arrival so please ensure NO electronics, foods, plastics etc are included in bags.
