Worship Ministry

By “Worship Ministry”, we are not espousing the view that worship is solely to do with music, singing, or even gathering together on Sunday morning. Worship has to do with engaging with God in all facets of life, through the means and provision of His grace.

The North Shore Alliance Worship Ministry, while recognizing the much broader scope of worship, is specially related to the corporate expression of worship through song. And one of the key scriptures that highlights the purpose of musical worship in the context of a whole-life-worship before God is Colossians 3:16-17.

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Thus, the vision of this ministry is to point people to see and savour Jesus (Psa 34:8) through musical worship in expressing love and faith in Christ as a part and expression of their life discipleship journey.
