Overview

This course explores the question: who is God and what is he like?  It is a four week survey of those things unique to God’s nature and central to his character, as presented in the Bible.

God wants us to know him.  He has revealed himself through the stories of scripture, and he invites us to find him in the story of our own lives.  Exploring the nature and character of God challenges us to see ourselves in light of who he is.  As you participate in this course you will be invited to make this part of your own journey of faith.

Our exploration of God’s nature and character will revolve around 4 areas:
1.      Engaging the God who wants to be known
2.      The mysterious tensions in God’s Character: holiness and love, justice and mercy
3.      God’s limitless nature
4.      The God who can be trusted
