Gaileen- January Update & Prayer Request

Dear Praying Friends,
 
May the Lord bless you all richly as this new year begins.  Thanks for your faithful prayers during 2013!
 
I am flying out tomorrow morning to the Eastern part of the Island again to finish off the Developing a Discerning Heart course with the group of women leaders--pastors, church planters and national missionaries--who did the first half of this course with us in September.  Please be in prayer for Lili and Marley, Yaquelin and me as we co-facilitate the two groups.  Remember that this was where I was called in for an "interview" this past September.  We will be meeting in a classroom loaned to us in the Eastern Baptist Seminary which is about 15 kilometers outside of the city.  Since it is an institution registered with the authorities we don't expect any surprises, but please still pray that this will be so.  Also pray for the women who will be studying--Gertrudis, Mayumi and Josefa in my group with Yaquelin;  Katia, Midgelia, Ana Iris, Nancy and Yilian in the group with Lili and Marley.  One of my group members had to drop out so we may be moving Katia into my group.
