Hello Friends and Family!
Firstly, I want to thank each of you for your prayers and incredible encouraging support over the last few months leading up to me leaving for full time YWAM missions in Kona. I have seen God's provision in ways that I didn’t expect and I have been so blessed by you; the community that is partnering with me in the call God has placed on my life in this season.
I am so grateful and thankful to all of you who prayed alongside me into this time of waiting and being patient. I am so pleased to be able to share that I have officially been slotted into staff housing from my date of arrival and I will be able to start my first role in the YWAM coffee shop on the base, this is a HUGE blessing for me!! It was a tough time when I wasn’t hearing much definitive information about housing with the days to my departure slowly counting down, this made me very nervous to show up in Kona, although I did say I was happy to hang up my hammock and sleep under the stars... maybe I’ll save that for future outreaches!
In the midst of preparing my head and my heart as well as some practical things before I leave on June 1st I received an outline for the course content of the leadership track (the program I will be taking before “officially” joining the staff team) it looks very similar to things I learned in Belize during my DTS. I’m excited that this will give more of an opportunity to learn about leadership and for God to go deeper!
I have lots to do before I head out and I am so grateful to those of you praying, here are a few things that I have thought through as the more key prayer points as I transition into full time missions:
1. Smooth, Productive and Stress Free days leading up to my departure
2. Peace as I transition into life in a new YWAM community
3. I have some more practical and logistical needs for finances which I have laid out below, if you would partner with me in praying for divine favour with each;
