"Understanding our Neighbourhoods"

The Bible actually has a lot to say about God's mission to cities like Vancouver. Yet, for many Christ-followers, it's difficult to see our streets, our offices, our schools, our recreation spaces as places where God is at work. The vast majority of people on the North Shore are not waking up on a Sunday morning and thinking about going to church. Most would call themselves "spiritual" but not "religious." Some are resistant to any hint of the Christian story. For NSAC Missions Month this January, we will focus on understanding our neighbourhoods -- listening our way into the culture, seeking to find the footprints of the Holy Spirit, so that we might continue to express the love and hope of Jesus to family, friends, & neighbours. And we trust God will further grow our mission hearts. Together.
