Dear North Shore Alliance Church,
We are humbled, inspired and so grateful that you continue the journey with us and believe God with us that He has many people here whom He wants to save, equip, empower and envision for Himself and His kingdom.
Some encouraging developments:
+ networking with other house church based communities here in the city (one which started out of our own EQUIP training - in German). We had all the leaders with us a couple of months ago - we were 15 people - one of the most inspiring, moving evenings in a long time. Since then we have had two gatherings together - one an outreach event on Easter Sunday and the other a prophetic worship and input event with our long time friend JC who ministered with such anointing.
+ not only have we started EQUIP 2 (for those who have done EQUIP 1), but the Lord has opened the door at a good size Pentecostal church here in the city to help them start an EQUIP 1. God moved in on us last week at their EQUIP with His presence as we taught and facilitated on one of our favourite topics, The Father Heart of God.
+ we now have 19 adults and three children in our first Missional Community and very open contacts and relationships with several internationals through work and other encounters
+ God continues to give us great favour in the city - I was asked to preach at the annual outdoor city festival on the 18th - several hundred people were seated and scores if not hundreds more were "watching" from a distance...
+ Karissa Gilbertson, an Ambrose graduate, finished her 2 year apprenticeship with us in April and is coming back in August as a fully funded C&MA International Worker!
+ We have another intern coming from Ambrose in January
REQUESTS:
+ wisdom for adding a leader to our missional community
+ supernatural guidance in preparing for a new season this fall for EQUIP
+ a drawing in of the "net" among those who are open to following Jesus Thanks so much for your partnership with us. Couldn´t be here without you!
