We had a great time celebrating Brenna's first birthday, and sure enough about a week later she has started walking! We are so thankful for your continued prayers for our family and ministry here, and are so grateful for how the Lord continues to uphold our family, and also give us opportunities to continue to invest in and relate to our community here in Manila.

Prayer Requests:
1. Planning a trip- Andrew is going to be travelling up to Northern Luzon to check out some tribal areas and get an idea of the needs there. Please pray for the logistics of the trip to come together, and that it can be a time for us to search and seek where God is leading us to serve here. The trip is planned tentatively for end of September.
2. Friends get-together- this weekend we are having a family over that Andrew and I have been getting closer to. They have a sister visiting from Singapore (where she works), and we are looking forward to meeting her, and praying this can be an opportunity to further deepen our relationship with them.
3. Joining a home group- please pray for wisdom as we look into a home group to join. We have visited one last week, which gave us a lot of cultural insight and were great people to visit. Please pray for us to continue to persevere is seeing where we can fit into a home group, and if we should continue trying to see if we can stay with the one we visited last week.
Praise:
1. We just had another doctor's appointment and our baby is healthy and growing well! We are thinking of staying with the doctor we've been seeing so far, so we are so thankful that God has made it easy for us to find a doctor we can use here who is willing to work with our requests.
2. We were able to visit a home group this past week, which was a great experience for us not only to be a part of this small community of believers, but we also felt like it gave us much insight into Christian culture here.
