Each year in the fall, guys get away together for a weekend of worship, teaching, and fun. It's a time to go deeper with God and with each other. It's a time to just hang out as guys and reflect on life from God's perspective. Whether over breakfast, sports, or a weekend retreat, guys are making connections and growing spiritually. Our 2019 Men's Retreat will be held on October 25-27 at Stillwood Camp & Conference Center in Chilliwack, BC.  Come spend a weekend getting away from the city and connecting with other guys in our community. We are starting an outdoor group to help connect people who are interested in hiking and other outdoor activities. Our kick-off event is a hike up Hollyburn for families or anyone who is interested in joining. Meet in the church parking lot at 2pm this Sunday, September 15th.

We will kick-off our Fall 2019 season with a Potluck Brunch - All women are welcome. Join us as we enjoy conversation, delicious food, and hear about the 2 new book studies we are offering this fall: “Even Better than Eden” by Nancy Guthrie and “Open Hands Willing Hearts” by Vivian Mabuni. Please bring a friend and some food to share. Childcare provided. We look forward to seeing you there! 

GroupLink is an event where you can meet people in a similar stage of life and availability with the goal of joining or forming a small group. Pastor Mardi and small group leaders will be on hand to navigate you through the process of meeting and connecting with others. The next GroupLink will be at 7pm on Thursday, September 19th. We will be meeting at the church at 7pm Friday, September 20th for NSAC's Preteen AMAZING RACE featuring exhilarating challenges and action-packed adventure.  Sign your preteens (Grade 5, 6 and 7 only) up below, invite your friends, and come ready to race (comfy shoes are a must)! Dress for the weather. 

The Men’s Ball Hockey season starts Sept 26th and runs until April 2020. Thursdays, 8:30pm at Kenneth Gordon School. The cost for the season is $100 (cheques payable to NSAC). Please contact Dave Snowden at dave@standardbuilding.ca if you would like to join.

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon is on Monday, Sept 30th from 11:30am-1:30pm in the Lower Auditorium. Geff Harada will be speaking on "The Heart: God's Testing Ground...". Tickets are $15 and can be purchased between the services on Sept 15th and 22nd.
