Missions Month Evening SeminarLearning from the Stories of our Indigenous Friends - Sunday, January 19, 2020 Everyone is invited to join us for this free seminar "Learning from the Stories of our Indigenous Friends", with guest speakers Dr. Jennifer Singh, Professor of Intercultural Studies at Ambrose University, and Temera Millar from North America Indigenous Ministries. Together we will learn more about First Nations culture and spirituality and how it meshes with the Christian Story, which crosses language and culture barriers to express itself uniquely in all human cultures. Preteen - Live CLUE GameFriday, January 24, 2020 Come out for a night of CLUE fun on Friday, January 24th from 7-8:30pm! All grades 5, 6 and 7 welcome! Dress in Green, Yellow, Red, Purple, White or Blue. You will be grouped by colour for the teams as you work your way through the CLUES to solve the mystery of the stolen treasure chest. Lamplighters LuncheonMonday, January 27, 2020 The next Lamplighters Luncheon is on Monday, January 27th, from 11:30am to 1:30pm in the Lower Auditorium. Sachi Rummel, a Hiroshima survivor, will be speaking about "God's Mercy & Grace". Sachi has written a book called "Hiroshima -- Memories of a Survivor", and has also done interviews about her experience. The cost for each luncheon is $15 per person.
