ESL Bible StudySaturday, September 10, 2022 NSAC has an ESL Bible Study meeting every Saturday morning at 11am, starting again on September 10th and running until December 10th. Thanksgiving Kids' ChoirMonday, September 19, 2022 Hey kids! Do you LOVE to sing? Well here's a chance to sing 2 songs in the adult church service! On Sunday, October 9th, our whole church will have a "Family Thanksgiving Service," including a Kids' Choir, which will perform in BOTH services*! We want any kid - Kindergarten to Preteen - who enjoys singing to join us. There will be three practices and one dress rehearsal before the performance, and children are expected to sing in both services. NOTE: Attendance at a minimum of 3 pre-performance events is required. Rehearsals: Come lift your voice to praise and thank God with us! * Minimum of 15 is required for the program to run. Lamplighters LuncheonMonday, September 26, 2022 Our first Lamplighters Luncheon in a long time will be held downstairs at NSAC on September 26, 2022. If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Our speaker will be Anne Thicke. Registration and payment will take place September 11 and 18 in the foyer. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon. The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome but please register them also. Child DedicationsSunday, October 9, 2022 We're celebrating Thanksgiving Sunday with a "family service" which will include child dedications. Children are a central part of God's kingdom, and we love to bless them. If you want to dedicate your baby or young child to God, please click the button below to register by Monday, September 26th and our Children's Ministry team will get in touch with you. If you have any questions, please email children@nsac.bc.ca - - - Child Dedication is an opportunity to thank God for the precious gift of your child, and publicly declare your intentions to raise him/her in a Christian home. Pastor of Worship Ministries
We are looking for a Pastor of Worship Ministries to join our pastoral team. The Pastor of Worship Ministries will focus on leading and developing our church worship culture, identifying, discipling, and equipping worship leaders and teams, and providing administration and oversight to our technical teams (video, audio, livestream). For more information, please see the attached Job Description. House of Omeed - Renovation Help Needed
God has provided a new home in Port Moody for House of Omeed, one of our missions partners that works with new Canadians. This fall they are looking for people with skills to volunteer in concrete work, flooring, plumbing, electrical, drywall/mudding, painting, shelving set up, cabinet work, carpentry, and landscaping, etc. If you are able to help contact: Ahmad at 604-565-4464. |
