Mark the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service at NSA.  We'll have a time of worship, prayer, a short teaching, and an opportunity to receive ashes.  Everyone is invited to participate.

One more week to apply! Applications are due on February 26th

Quick Trip Facts:

August 10-23, 2023. $4000 CDN/person. Team of 10-13 adults. Focus on soccer, fence-building, and discipling youth.

We are looking for 10-13 people ages 18+ who are regular attenders of NSAC to form our Zambia Missions Team 2023. This Trip would be particularly beneficial for people with skills and experience in construction, soccer playing or coaching, discipling youth, and/or those sensing a call from God to missions.

NSAC ADVENTURE FUNDRAISER: TREK for HOPE 2023

Join the adventure and help raise funds for Lazarus House and Project Samuel! 
  • LAZARUS HOUSE: New Young Adult Community House for young people experiencing a housing crisis in our city.
  • Project Samuel Zambia: A home to orphaned and at risk children, Project Samuel also engages in community development projects such as agricultural and leadership training. We want to help build 4km of fence so they can become a self-sufficient ministry!

- - ABOUT TREK FOR HOPE - -

WHAT: Complete as many classic North Shore adventures as you can while asking friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you.  Sponsors can donate an overall amount for your participation, or an amount per activity that you cross off! 

WHERE: See the "Adventure Tracking Card" for a list of challenges and locations with three levels of difficulty!  How many can you complete?

WHEN: The two weeks over spring break, March 11-26, 2023. 

WHY: At NSAC we believe that God has placed us here on the North Shore to serve people with a varying range of needs. As a church, we strive to focus on the needs of our community and beyond with love and generosity. 

HOW: Register yourself or your team at the link below, then get people to sponsor you and check off as many activities as you can!

Come out for a night of CLUE fun, one of my favourite events of the year!  All grades 5, 6 and 7 welcome!

Friday, February 24th 7-8:30pm at North Shore Alliance Church

You will be teamed up and together you will work your way through the CLUES to solve the mystery of the stolen treasure chest!

Lamplighters Luncheon

Lamplighters Luncheon

Monday, February 27, 2023

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on February 27, 2023.  If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Our speaker will be Bill Gilmartin.

Registration and payment will take place February 12th & 19th in the foyer, before the start of each service. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon.

The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome, but please register them also.

Laptop Donations

We are looking for 2 to 3 laptops for our summer interns to use at the church starting in April. 

Please let us know if you have a laptop available that meets the following requirements:
  - no more than 3 years old
  - minimum 250GB hard drive
  - minimum 8GB RAM
  - can be either PC or MAC
  - available for our interns to use from April through the end of August
    and/or willing to donate laptop to the church
