Fridays at CypressEvery Friday, February 9 - March 22 Pastor Dave recently said that physical, mental and spiritual health are closely related. In that vein, NSA congregants and friends are invited to get out into the beautiful forest of Cypress and ski or snowshoe or hike (dependent on weather/snow conditions) . This is not a competitive exercise, but a chance to get together in the outdoors and ... MOVE TOGETHER!!! Please meet at 6:30pm on Fridays outside the Cypress Mountain Ticket office in the Nordic Ski area. Groups will go out by 6:35pm to enjoy the mountain and reconvene at 8pm for hot chocolate in the Hollyburn Lodge. For more information, please contact Donna or John Weston (dj.weston@shaw.ca). Donna is a certified personal trainer, and John is the head of the Canadian Health and Fitness Institute. They will meet each Friday except Good Friday, February through March. You can buy a ski or snowshoe ticket at Guest Services on Cypress or online. You can also rent equipment at the mountain. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God?" NOTE: NSA encourages you to participate with Donna & John but the church is not overseeing the activity and takes no legal responsibility for accidents, injuries or attendant risks. |

Mission Fest Vancouver
Encounter Jesus at Mission Fest VancouverWe believe that Mission Fest isn’t just a place to learn more about the ways people are spreading the Good News around the world, but also to encounter the Person who is Himself the Good News. If you need a touch from God, come; if you need healing, come. If you are curious as to how you can participate in the greatest adventure for your life, come; if you just want to hear more about Jesus, come. Just come. This year’s theme isn’t just a “conference theme” that you’ll hear about in great sermons. It’s our conviction that, together at the conference, we are to model and practice the reality that we follow a Person; He doesn’t follow us. We can meet Jesus in the messages preached, in the prayer times, and while browsing through the exhibit areas. Jesus Himself will touch us, call us, renew us, and save us. Our prayer for all those who come is that they would go home and be able to say, as the early disciples did in Acts 15:4,
