Drive-In Church Service

Drive-In Church Service

Sunday, March 14, 2021

Join us for a Drive-in Church Service on Sundays at 11am!

At a drive-in service, you come to the church parking lot, remain in your vehicle, watch from your car but listen through your car radio! Tune your radio to 87.9 FM

If you would like to attend you will need to register to reserve your parking spot.

A few things to note:
  • We are limited to 50 vehicles in the parking lot. You are welcome to bring other members of your household in your vehicle, but only need to register the driver's information on the registration form.
  • Because cars aren’t allowed to idle (provincial law) you might want to bring blankets and/or a hot drink to keep warm.
  • No getting out of the car, except to use the bathroom.
  • You need a working radio tuned to 87.9 FM
  • Please drive your smallest car - big vehicles will park at the back (pastors will direct this on Sunday morning).
  • If you have an electric vehicle, you may want to bring an extension cord, or use a portable radio rather than your car radio, so that your battery isn't drained by the end of the service.

At NSAC we believe that God has uniquely placed us on the North Shore to serve this multicultural community with love and generosity. Through Trek for Hope we are raising money for refugees, new immigrants, and those struggling financially because of COVID in our city.

How Does it Work?

1.) Choose an outdoor adventure/activity of choice, along with a target distance (ex. Trail running for 21kms).

2.) Ask your friends, family and neighbours for pledges (ex. they will donate $50, or $10 per kilometer).

3.) Get out into nature and track your KMs! After you have completed your adventure, connect with those who made pledges to collect their donations.

Financial Update

Financial Update

We are grateful to you, and to God, for the ongoing generosity of your giving. As we have previously let you know, we received a large, unexpected, financial gift at the end of December. As a leadership team, we have discerned and prayed together as to how God would have us use these funds.  Here are some of the things we have committed to: funds to complete one of Project Samuel's buildings; funds to support local Alliance Churches who are struggling in light of COVID; funds to take significant next steps in developing a New Canadians ministry.

If you have any questions about the finances at NSAC, please contact Tami Cooke at tamic@nsac.bc.ca or call 604-984-6422.
