Church Health Assessment Survey
As part of the Transition Process, and in order to prepare well for our upcoming Lead Pastor search, we would greatly appreciate your input in our Church Health Assessment. The survey takes approximately 30 minutes, and your answers will be kept confidential by the Pathways Forward staff (Gerry Teichrob and his team). They will present a summary to the NSAC Board on an anonymous basis. Thank you for taking the time to complete the Church Health Assessment! Good Friday ServiceFriday, March 29, 2024 Join us for our Good Friday service at 10 am on Friday, March 29th. Everyone is welcome! Children are invited to attend the service with their parents. The Nursery will be open for ages 0-24 months. |

Women's Retreat 2024Dancing in the Dark Registration is Open!Our 2024 Women's Retreat will be held at North Shore Alliance Church on Friday May 3, (6:30-9pm) and Saturday May 4th (8:30am-9pm). We encourage you to plan ahead so that you are able to set aside the weekend and all responsibilities to fully engage with the sessions and activities. Our guest speaker is Aisling (pronounced Ashling) Zweigle, Family Life Pastor at Tenth Avenue Alliance Church. The title of this year's retreat is "Dancing in the Darkness: finding levity and lightness in the dark and cloudy spaces of our lives". Aisling is a dynamic and engaging speaker and the sessions will be encouraging as she explores the ideas of discovery, delight and even dancing in seasons of darkness and clouded vision. Fridays at CypressFriday, March 22nd NSA congregants and friends are invited to get out into the beautiful forest of Cypress and ski or snowshoe or hike (dependent on weather/snow conditions). This is not a competitive exercise, but a chance to get together in the outdoors and ... MOVE TOGETHER!!! Please meet at 6:30pm outside the Cypress Mountain Ticket office in the Nordic Ski area. Groups will go out by 6:35pm to enjoy the mountain and reconvene at 8pm for hot chocolate in the Hollyburn Lodge. For more information, please contact Donna or John Weston (dj.weston@shaw.ca). Missions SpotlightCommunity Houses In partnership with Circle of Care, NSAC and Lazarus Community Society (LCS) provides supportive housing for 13 individuals living in three rental homes on the North Shore. The Community Houses incorporate a holistic view of health and wellness; including access to mental, physical, and spiritual healthcare and the opportunity to develop a meaningful community connection. SummerJAM Registration is Open!
SummerJAM 2024 - BABYLON: Daniel's Courage in Captivity Join in the adventure as we travel back to Babylon and discover the many ways Daniel showed courage because he knew GOD was with him! From being captured to standing before a new king... praying when not allowed and being thrown to lions! Watch Daniel as he trusts God for help all along the way!! PreSummerJAM is July 2-5, 2024 - for ages 3-5 with parent participation. SummerJAM is July 8-12, 2024 - for kids entering K to Grade 5. ------------- SummerJAM Volunteers NeededJoin us for an amazing week at SummerJAM 2024. SummerJAM is a fun day camp where we lead kids as they play games, make crafts, sing songs and listen to amazing stories! Don't miss what could be the best week of a child's Summer - and yours too!
