Join us after the morning services this Sunday, Feb 20th for an outdoor reception and farewell for Pastor Mardi.

Mardi has been our Discipleship Pastor for the last 9 1/2 years, and will be greatly missed!  Please bless, encourage and pray for her as she follows God's leading into a new role, and pray for our staff and leaders during this transition.

Mark the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service at NSA.  We'll have a time of worship, prayer, a short teaching about how to fast, and an opportunity to receive ashes. 
Everyone is invited to participate.

Sunday is Mardi’s last day on staff.  Please pray for her in the farewells and transition; and for our hearts as we say good bye. Pray also for Pastor Jeremy and his family - for a house to rent and for God to sustain them in the waiting.

Our next GriefShare course will be 7-9pm Mondays, Starting Feb 28th.

Through a DVD & discussion, this weekly group will help you walk through the difficult challenge of grieving. Registration is $25 and includes the workbook. We'd love to support and encourage you.

We will start will an informal "Meet and Greet" on Monday, February 28th, then the 13-week program will begin on March 7th.

Meeting at 4pm at the Kilmer Park Parking Lot.  Please drive into the parking lot to drop off and pick up. 

We will be walking along the Varley Trail to Lynn Headwaters. There we will play for a while and have a little snack, before walking back along the Lynn Headwaters Connector Trail to the parking lot. Pick up at 5:30pm please.

Sign up in advance is required, registration closes February 23rd at 6pm.

NSAC MISSIONS FUNDRAISER: TREK for HOPE 2.0!

As a church, we want to combine our love for exploring God’s creation with our love for helping other people. So we're asking you to join us in the TREK for HOPE fundraiser - raising funds to support our local and global missionaries. 

WHAT: Choose an adventure of choice that you are going to commit to along with a distance target. (ex. Trail running for 21kms) 

WHERE: The North Shore is our playground! But really anywhere your adventure takes you!

WHEN: The two weeks over spring break March 12-27, 2022. 

The proceeds of the Trek for Hope Fundraiser will go to:

1. LAZARUS COMMUNITY HOUSE: providing local housing for marginalized members of Vancouver metro area, work resources, and spiritual care
2. PROJECT SAMUEL:  To support Kim and Brendan Vowell at Project Samuel in Zambia. Funds raised will support their educational needs to buy school supplies and help support their grads with college funds! This project is home to 25 orphaned and at risk children. The project exists to love, care, and equip the children and surrounding communities in great need.

NSAC has an ESL Bible Study meeting every Saturday morning at 10am, starting February 19th.

Come expecting to build friendships within the church community while learning English through Bible Study! 

Anyone 18+ is welcome to attend. Please bring yourself, something to write on, and something to write with.
