6:30–8:30pm Thursday, April 16 & 23.

P.S. We'll also be joined by some youth from Peace Portal Alliance that are in town on an inner city missions trip! So cool!

The season will run from April until July, with Monday and Friday night games. Minimum age to join the team: born in 2010.

Tryouts will be at Kirkstone Turf this Saturday, March 14th at 4:30pm.

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on March 30th from 11:30am to 1:30pm. If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us! 

Registration will take place March 15th & 22nd in the foyer, before the 9am service and between the services. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon. The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome, but please register them also.

Looking for a meaningful way to spend your summer? Join our team as a Summer Intern and make a difference in the lives of kids and families!

Job Responsibilities: 

- Help plan and lead our SummerJAM camp for K – Gr. 5 students, and our preschool camp (administration work, preparing crafts, games, Bible lessons, set-up/take-down, decorating/design, and opportunities to lead small groups).
- Assist with FLO Soccer Camp for kids aged 7-14. 
- Help set up, plan, and run NSA Kids Sunday services throughout the summer (lead games, crafts, teaching, and working with volunteers).

Other responsibilities may include front office coverage, events for preteens, youth, and/or young adults, environmental activities, and supporting other ministries including English Language Learners and Seniors ministries. There is also opportunity to run additional events (e.g. Family games days, youth events, service projects) based on the intern’s passions and where they feel God leading them during the summer. 

Requirements:

- Qualifies for the Canada Summer Jobs Grant
- A devoted follower of Jesus who loves working with kids
- Available full-time July 6–10 and July 13–17, and most Sundays
- Strong English communication skills
- Hardworking, flexible, creative, and organized
- Able to sign the C&MA Statement of Faith and NSAC Leadership Agreement
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Post-secondary training in education or a ministry-related field is an asset

SummerJAM 2026 will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God's amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We'll praise God because we were made to magnify Him!

SUMMERJAM
July 6-10th, 9 am to 12 pm daily.

Kids entering Kindergarten* to Grade 5 (born 2016-2021) will experience amazing adventures while learning that God loves them! We will have a fun morning of games, crafts, singing and stories. Don't miss what could be the best week of your child's Summer!

COST: $70. Includes craft supplies and a t-shirt (size not guaranteed for registrations after April 1st).

*If your 5 year old child, entering kindergarten in September 2026, is very shy or needs extra attention then please consider registering them for Junior SummerJAM (July 14-17) our parent-participation camp. We want everyone to have a great experience!

JUNIOR SUMMERJAM
July 14-17th, 10 am to 12 pm daily.

Junior SummerJam is a parent participation camp for you and your kids 0-5 years old! Older siblings are welcome, please register them as well. We will have a fun morning of games, crafts, singing and stories.

Please note that your safety is very important to us. We are accepting registrations for limited campers, with one parent or guardian per family. 

COST: $15/child aged 3-5 & older siblings. (Free for ages 2 and under)

VOLUNTEER AT SUMMERJAM

Join in the fun and make a difference in a child's life at SummerJAM 2026 - MAGNIFIED!  July 6th to 10th.  Volunteer registration is open and there are a variety of opportunities available including: group leaders, junior leaders, buddy support, craft team, and snack team.  Volunteers will need to attend our mandatory Volunteer Training on Wednesday June 24th from 1:00-3:00pm OR 6:00-8:00pm.

NOTE: Volunteers will be selected from those who have applied.  Application does not guarantee volunteer participation. Thank you for understanding.
