Mark the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service at NSA.  We'll have a time of worship, prayer, a short teaching about how to fast, and an opportunity to receive ashes.  Everyone is invited to participate.

Our next GriefShare course will be 7-9pm Mondays, Starting Feb 28th.

Through a DVD & discussion, this weekly group will help you walk through the difficult challenge of grieving. Registration is $25 and includes the workbook. We'd love to support and encourage you.

We will start will an informal "Meet and Greet" on Monday, February 28th, then the 13-week program will begin on March 7th.

The Operation Christmas Child shoebox numbers are in!

• The North Shore, Squamish and Whistler: 1,452 shoeboxes (1,334 shoeboxes and 118 online shoeboxes)
• British Columbia: almost 54,000
• Canada: almost 414,000
• World-wide: over 10.5 million!

God is doing awesome things in these uncertain times!  The shoeboxes are currently being shipped and distributed. Please pray for the 10.5 million children around the globe whose lives will be touched by the Christmas Child.

NSAC MISSIONS FUNDRAISER: TREK for HOPE 2.0!

As a church, we want to combine our love for exploring God’s creation with our love for helping other people. So we're asking you to join us in the TREK for HOPE fundraiser - raising funds to support our local and global missionaries. 

WHAT: Choose an adventure of choice that you are going to commit to along with a distance target. (ex. Trail running for 21kms) 

WHERE: The North Shore is our playground! But really anywhere your adventure takes you!

WHEN: The two weeks over spring break March 12-27, 2022. 

The proceeds of the Trek for Hope Fundraiser will go to:

1. LAZARUS COMMUNITY HOUSE: providing local housing for marginalized members of Vancouver metro area, work resources, and spiritual care
2. PROJECT SAMUEL:  To support Kim and Brendan Vowell at Project Samuel in Zambia. Funds raised will support their educational needs to buy school supplies and help support their grads with college funds! This project is home to 25 orphaned and at risk children. The project exists to love, care, and equip the children and surrounding communities in great need.
