This Sunday we are having a special Thanksgiving Family Service at 9 & 11 am including music by the NSA Kids Choir and child dedications. 

All kids age 2 and older are invited to attend church and sit with their parents/guardians. The nursery will be open for children under 2 years of age. Activity sheets will be provided for children attending with their parents.

Pastor Brendan and Simon Koldyk invite the men of NSA to Streetcar Brewing for a night of fellowship, light refreshments and appetizers.

Calling ALL NSA Kids Volunteers!  Thank you for your passion and commitment to loving kids into a deeper relationship with God.  We want ALL our Children's Ministry leaders to have the knowledge to keep these kids safe too!

This ONLINE meeting is REQUIRED for all currently and soon-to-be serving Children's Ministry Volunteers.  Please contact Pastor Bronwyn at children@nsac.bc.ca if you are NOT able to attend this date.

Guys, join us for a weekend of worship, teaching, and fun! It's a great time to go deeper with God and with each other. 

Our 2022 Men's Retreat will be held on October 21-23 at Stillwood Camp & Conference Center in Chilliwack, BC. 

Come spend a weekend getting away from the city and connecting with other guys in our community.  Please plan to attend!  Bring a friend!

Cost is $200.  Scholarships are available.

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on October 31, 2022.  If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Our speaker will be Dave Sattler.

Registration and payment will take place October 16th & 23rd in the foyer, before the start of each service. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon.

The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome, but please register them also.

The 2022 Annual General Meeting will be on Sunday, October 23rd at 7pm, in the Sanctuary.

Business at the AGM will include the presentation of financial statements, election of elders, and election of nominating committee members. The 2022 Annual Report and Reviewed Financial Statements will be emailed to the Membership list and printed copies will be made available upon request (please contact the church office: info@nsac.bc.ca or 604-984-6422).

The Elders Board candidates up for election are: Clive Harvey and Monica McAlduff. Their biographies, along with those of the elders in the middle of their service term, are available in the Annual Report.

Road Closure: 200 Block of 23rd Street East
for water main replacement

During work hours, a full road closure will be in effect in the 200 Block of East 23rd street, and detours will be in place for all vehicles. Access along the Green Necklace will be maintained. Temporary parking restrictions are expected. Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm.

For those driving to the church this Sunday, please note that 23rd Street will be closed for eastbound traffic between St Georges Ave and St Andrews Ave, but will be open for west bound traffic. 

During this time, our parking lot can also be accessed from the alley between 23rd and 22nd streets, as several cement blocks have been temporarily removed. 

We are looking for Welcome Desk volunteers to serve on the 3rd Sunday of each month, at either the 9am or 11am service.
Training is provided!

House of Omeed exists to inspire hope in the hearts of refugees and newcomers to Canada by assisting them through services such as: ESL classes, food safe courses, translation services, income tax clinics, employment searches, food distribution and more. Additionally, they assist with finding housing, furniture and basic necessities.

Thank you for praying for a new home for the House of Omeed! They have taken possession of a building in Port Moody and plan to move in at the end of 2022. Please continue praying with them that God would provide the necessary volunteers, materials, and funds to renovate this new location.

They are looking for people with skills to volunteer in concrete work, flooring, plumbing, electrical, drywall/mudding, painting, shelving set up, cabinet work, carpentry, and landscaping, etc.
