Operation Christmas Child. Newcomers Lunch. Dads & Kids

North Shore Alliance Church
NSAC eBulletin for October 30, 2022
Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child reaches out to children around the world in desperate situations, bringing joy and hope through gift-filled shoeboxes, reminding them that they are loved and not forgotten. Shoeboxes are available in the foyer on Sundays (starting Oct 23) and during the week. Watch the video below to see how your involvement makes a difference!

Filled shoeboxes must be returned to the church by Sunday, November 20. Alternatively, shoeboxes can be packed online at www.packabox.ca.

This year, for the first time, shoeboxes from Canada are being sent to the Philippines. Ukraine and countries in Central America and West Africa will also be receiving our shoeboxes.

Would you like to get more involved and help to coordinate this ministry at NSAC? It entails a 6-week commitment from mid-October. Chat to Michiel or Brenda Smit at 778-877-5313.

Ministry Highlights

A quick highlight reel of this year's Men's Retreat at Camp Stillwood.

The retreat is a time for men to get away from work and home life and spend time with fellow men in prayer, worship, bible study, discussion and a plethora of fun activities. It's a time of rest from work, but also a time of re-invigoration of our spiritual lives and our walk with the Lord.
