Our 2024 Women's Retreat will be held at NSA on Friday May 3, (7-9pm) and Saturday May 4th.  Our guest speaker is Aisling (pronounced Ashling) Zweigle, Family Life Pastor at Tenth Avenue Alliance Church.  The title of this year's retreat is "Dancing in the Darkness: finding levity and lightness in the dark and cloudy spaces of our lives".  Aisling is a dynamic and engaging speaker and the sessions will be encouraging as she explores the ideas of discovery, delight and even dancing in seasons of darkness and clouded vision.

Please save the date!!  Tell a friend!!  We encourage you to plan ahead so that you are able to set aside the weekend and all responsibilities to fully engage with the sessions and activities.

“Circle of Care” North Shore Community Houses Request for Urgent Support: Rental Opportunity

“Circle of Care” North Shore Community Houses Request for Urgent Support: Rental Opportunity

One of the residences in our Circle of Care network recently changed ownership and has been sold, leading to the impending displacement of six valued residents in our housing program on the North Shore.

We are reaching out to the compassionate and supportive community of the North Shore for assistance. We appeal to homeowners and housing operators across the region who may have a rental opportunity available for our six residents.

Why consider renting to the Circle of Care Program?

Access to permissive tax exemptions for your property
Regular visits from Circle of Care program staff to ensure property is well looked after
A sense of stability and assurance, underpinned by the reputation of Canada's foremost mental health charity, CMHA NWV
Make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of your fellow community members by providing safe and secure housing

Please contact info@cmhanorthshore.ca or 604-987-6959 if you are able to help.
