About the course:
The Sanctuary Course is an eight-part course designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges. There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read the short sessions in the course book before each group gathering.

Cost: $10 for printed course book  (or download the PDF for free)

Registration: Space is limited!  There will be a waitlist available if more than 20 people register. Because there is limited space, please only sign up if you are available to attend a minimum of 6 out of the 8 sessions.
