In this season where many of us are working at home, and few of us are attending worship services on Sunday, we want to encourage you to set aside a time (3 hrs, 6 hrs or 24 hrs) for rest, reflection and delight in God.
In Mark 2:27, Jesus declares, "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
Humanity was made with a need for rest, reflection, and connection to God. Practicing Sabbath enables us to have a weekly time for recovery and refreshment.
We encourage you to join us in this commmitment to practicing Sabbath.
You may also want to print and fill out the PDF commitment card attached below, in order to remember the commitment you've made.
