OUR VISION:

For the men of North Shore Alliance Church to be engaged in their faith, family, and field (of influence).

What is a man?

“A man is an image bearer and son of God entrusted with power and the responsibility to create, cultivate, care, and defend, for God’s glory and the good of others.”

- Tyson, Jon. “The Intentional Father: A Practical Guide to Raise Sons of Courage and Character.” Baker Books.  Page 37.

Boys, Brews, and Bibles

A monthly gathering of men hosted by Streetcar Brewing where guys come to hang out and hear a short message designed to launch into table discussions. See event page for dates and details.

Father/Son Man Day (June)

This 4-hour event brings men together from 12 years old and up. Most cultures throughout history have had a strong fellowship of men and some sort of right of passage. Today we give very little thought or attention in how we help move our boys into manhood. This intergenerational gathering of men begins to give us a fresh vision of what godly manhood looks like in the 2020’s. See the link below for a right of passage resource!

Men's Retreat

Each year in the fall, guys get away together for a weekend of worship, teaching, and fun. It's a time to go deeper with God and with each other. It's a time to hang out as guys, eat together, and reflect on life from God's perspective.

Ball Hockey and Soccer

Throughout the year, we run a ball hockey and soccer league. It's a great time to meet other guys and have a bit of fun. Joining a team is a great physical outlet and often the start of a good friendship, not to mention a time to enjoy some friendly competition!
