On September 25th Andrew and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary, and are so thankful for the years that we've had together, and all that God has shown us! We appreciate the impact so many of you have had in our lives as a married couple, and look forward in anticipation in what God has ahead for us!

Prayer Requests:
1. Church visit- this coming Sunday (Oct. 2) we are planning to visit the Kalentong Alliance Church, which is also part of the same denomination as our alliance church back home. Our friend from Vancouver gave us a contact there, so we are excited to meet her and check out church there. Please pray that we will be able to make some good connections there, and see if the Lord would have us get involved in this church community. We are really praying that they offer home groups, because that is great way for us to get connected with people more personally.
2. Friends- I found out a few days ago that a couple of my friends from growing up that are not saved and have never really been interested are looking for a church to attend back in Ojai, CA. I am so excited to see God working in their lives, and ask that you pray with me that they will encounter God and find a strong Christian community to be a part of- and most of all, that they will be able to hear clearly the Gospel. Also please pray that I would have courage to connect with them and see how things are going for them as they look into going to a church.
3. Intoy- Andrew has been put in touch with a man named Intoy, a man from a tribal village in Palawan who moved to Manila quite a while ago to work. Long story short a missionary from that tribe connected Andrew with him, and as the missionary was leaving for furlough told Andrew that this man has become more interested in spiritual things, and asked that Andrew get in touch with him and try to build a relationship. Andrew will get together with him this week- please pray that they can find a good time to meet, and be able to communicate (he only speaks Tagalog/his tribal dialect)- Andrew is bringing a Filipino friend with him as well to help with the conversation.
Praise:
1. We had a good doctor's visit this past weekend, and the doctor said that mommy and baby are healthy and everything looks great (some blood tests, etc. were done). We also found out we are having a boy!
2. Megan has started working with a new language helper, and it has gone really well so far! Please pray that it wil continue to work out to do language helping with Jackie.
