Drive-in Service Test Run
We've been planning a drive-in Sunday service and tomorrow (Feb 7th) we're holding a test service at 11am.
At a drive-in service, you come to the church parking lot, remain in your vehicle, watch from your car but listen through your car radio!
If you would like to attend tomorrow you will need to book online at this link to reserve your parking spot: https://nsac.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/718555
A few things to note:
- We are limited to 50 vehicles in the parking lot. You are welcome to bring other members of your household in your vehicle, but only need to register the driver's information on the registration form.
- because cars aren’t allowed to idle (provincial law) you might want to consider having blankets and/or a hot drink to keep warm.
- no getting out of the car, except to use the bathroom
- you need a working radio
- please drive your smallest car - big vehicles will park at the back (pastors will direct this on Sunday morning).
If you attend, we will send you a survey next week to get your feedback on the quality of the sound, the experience etc.

Trek for Hope
WHAT: Choose an outdoor adventure/activity of choice that you are going to commit to, along with a distance target (ex. Trail running for 21kms). Then ask people for pledges. (ex. they will donate $50, or $10 per kilometer). WHO: We are raising money for refugees, new immigrants, and those struggling financially because of COVID in our city. The two organizations we are directly supporting are House of Omeed and Journey Home Community. Please check out their websites to learn more about what they do. WHERE: The North Shore is our playground! But really anywhere your adventure takes you! WHEN: The two weeks over spring break (March 13-28, 2021). WHY: At NSAC we believe that God has uniquely placed us here on the north shore to serve this multicultural city with a varying range of needs. We strive to focus on the needs of our community with love and generosity. Financial Update
We are grateful to you, and to God, for the ongoing generosity of your giving. At the end of December, we received a large, unexpected, financial gift. We will be seeking God's direction in how to use these funds to further the ministry of North Shore Alliance both locally and globally. If you have any questions about the finances at NSAC, please contact Tami Cooke at tamic@nsac.bc.ca |
