We’re excited to share a few staff updates for this fall and the new year!

Pastor Michelle Jackson will continue overseeing Family Ministries, while Naomi Peters will remain our part-time Children’s Ministry Director until January 2027. Charlotte Canvin will continue part-time administration for NSA Kids while also pursuing a degree in Social Work.

This fall, we welcome Anja Ratsch as our part-time Children’s Ministry Assistant, coordinating NSA Kids and Sunday services. Many of the children already know Anja from her past two years as a summer intern, and faithful volunteering. We are excited to have her serving with us!

Beginning in February 2027, Leah Lutsenko will join us as our Family Ministries Associate. Leah has attended NSAC since childhood and brings a deep love for Jesus along with her experience running a children’s centre on the North Shore. We are grateful to welcome her into this new role!

NSA Youth ministry reaches out to grade 8-12 students on the North Shore. We gather together as a large group at the church on Wednesday Nights @ 7pm for worship, games, teaching, small group discussion and snacks during the school year!

Young Adults (ages 18-30) are warmly invited to our kick-off BBQ on Thursday, September 10th! Join us for an evening of delicious grilled favourites, fun activities, and time to connect with other young adults.

NSA Preteens is for Grade 5, 6, & 7 students. We want to provide space for preteens to learn about God, build strong friendships and have fun!

Please REGISTER your Preteen for the 2026/27 year

Preteen Sunday Mornings kick-off on September 13th! After worship we meet as preteens at both the 9am and 11am services three Sundays a month. Preteens are dismissed to their teaching time mid-service and can meet their teachers in the upper room. Students will have fun as they encounter biblical truths through scripture, drama, games, discussion, and prayer.  

Our first preteen event will be The Amazing Race on September 25th. Event details can be found here.

Mark your calendars for our Connect Brunch on Wednesday, Sept 16th at 9:30am. All women are welcome to attend!  Come enjoy conversation and delicious food, and hear about the new study we'll be starting this fall. Please bring some food to share.

We will start the study "Life Lessons from John" by Max Lucado on September 23rd. Cost: $20. Please register at the link below!

God designed us for community and never intended for us to follow Him alone. Small groups are one of the best ways to experience genuine Christian community and grow in our faith as we study God’s Word, encourage and pray for one another, serve and equip others, and share life together.

GroupLink is an opportunity to meet other people and explore groups that fit your stage of life and availability, with the goal of joining or forming a small group. Pastor Brendan and small group leaders will be on hand to navigate you through the process of meeting others and finding a group where you can connect and grow.

Our next GroupLink will be on Sunday, September 20th. Join us between the services in the Upper Room from 10:20-10:50am. We'd love to help you take the next step toward finding community!
