NSA Kids' Christmas Choir Recording

NSA Kids' Christmas Choir Recording

Ages 2 through Grade 4 - Sunday, December 12, 2021

Hey Parents!

We can't wait to hear your kids' beautiful voices singing our three Christmas carols this year!  However, recent COVID restrictions mean that we CAN'T do the video recording as planned.

But, fear not! There is another way!  Parents, here is where you come in...

  1. Gather your kid(s) and practice the songs so they'll be happy and relaxed when they are recorded.  The links for all three action songs are below.
  2. Dress up your kid(s) in their favourite Christmas outfit or colours.
  3. Find a fun place to record your kid(s) singing and doing the actions! Maybe it is in front of your own tree or up on a mountain hill, or somewhere else where you can record the kids singing WITHOUT wearing their masks.
  4. Send it to children@nsac.bc.ca to be included as a compilation video to be shown during the December 19th NSA Kids Christmas Party! (Submission Deadline: midnight on Sunday, December 12th)

Let's make a joyful noise to the Lord together!

The Sanctuary Course

The Sanctuary Course

Monday, January 17, 2022

Would you like to learn more about mental health? Would you value connecting with others? Sign up for The Sanctuary Course and explore a topic that is more relevant than ever.

Mondays, January 17 to March 7
7:00-8:30pm at the church
Facilitated by Mardi Dolfo-Smith and Brenda Martin

About the course:
The Sanctuary Course is an eight-part course for small groups designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. It offers communities a base of shared knowledge and the opportunity to discover a common language for talking about mental health.

Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges.

There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read the short sessions in the coarse book before each group gathering.

Because there is limited space, please only sign up if you are available to attend a minimum of 6 out of the 8 sessions.

Cost: $10 for printed coarse book  (or download the PDF for free)
