Trek for Hope 3.0

Trek for Hope 3.0

NSAC ADVENTURE FUNDRAISER

It's not too late to join the adventure and help raise funds for Lazarus House and Project Samuel!

WHAT: Complete as many classic North Shore adventures as you can while asking friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you.  Sponsors can donate an overall amount for your participation, or an amount per activity that you cross off!

WHERE: See the "Adventure Tracking Card" for a list of challenges and locations with three levels of difficulty!  How many can you complete?

WHEN: The two weeks over spring break, March 11-26, 2023.

WHY: At NSAC we believe that God has placed us here on the North Shore to serve people with a varying range of needs. As a church, we strive to focus on the needs of our community and beyond with love and generosity.

HOW: Register yourself or your team at the link below, then get people to sponsor you and check off as many activities as you can!

All proceeds will go directly to those in need and can be donated here: Donate to Trek for Hope

Preteen Outdoor Walk

Preteen Outdoor Walk

Grades 5, 6 and 7 only - Friday, March 24, 2023

The plan will be to meet at Kilmer Park Parking lot by 10am sharp.  We would walk past End of the Line General Store and down, along the Varley Trail to Lynn Headwaters, we would cross the river there and head along the connector trail to Rice Lake and walk around the lake then back to Kilmer Park where we could have a snack and play in the park until pick up time at 12 Noon.  I think the walk is about 5kms and we will have a swift pace.  Preteens must bring a water bottle and a snack and be able to carry them all the way.  I recommend a warm jacket and comfy walking shoes!  The trails are still chilly.

We can support the Trek for Hope this way.

In order to go ahead with this plan I will require some parent volunteers to accompany me with the preteens.  Please let me know if you are willing to join us.  My email is michj@nsac.bc.ca
