Beware of Emails from Scammers

Beware of Emails from Scammers

Dear NSA Church Family,

It has come to our attention that someone has again been impersonating Pastor Jeremy and sending email messages to our community requesting donations such as money transfers, cash and gift cards, and/or directing recipients to make online purchases. These emails are not legitimate. Please be cautious!

Before replying to any emails from Jeremy, or any of our pastors or staff, check that the sending email address ends in @nsac.bc.ca as many of the scammers create email addresses that look similar, but end in gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.

Please also know that the church staff will not ask you to only communicate through email.  If you have received a suspicious email, or have concerns that a request may not be legitimate, we encourage you to phone the church office or speak with us in person to verify the details of emailed messages.

We recommend that you report any spam or phishing emails you've received to your email provider, and block the offending scammer's email address.

If you have any questions, please email info@nsac.bc.ca or call the church office.
