Thank you for your incredible support of our Kenya Mission!  After a final half-day safari and visit to the Giraffe Centre, we landed safely in Vancouver after a 30-hour door-to-door journey home. 

So many highlights, challenges, and memorable moments along the way-- the cultural and spiritual impact of a trip like this is difficult to quantify.  Please pray for team members as we recover, reflect, and re-enter life back at home.

One thing stands out.  The ministry to which God has called NSAC Missionaries Paul & Jina Lee to Kenya is making a difference.  The students Paul is mentoring and teaching (theology and pastoral skills) are having a great impact.  They are reaching unreached people in remote villages, caring for the poor in the big city of Nairobi, and pastoring churches (or will do so in the coming years).  It was a beautiful experience to spend time with Paul and his students and to minister alongside them in the mission of Jesus in Kenya.

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on August 25th from 11:30am - 1:30pm. If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us! Pastor John Fortune will be our speaker.

Registration will take place August 10th & 17th in the foyer, before and after the 10am service. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon. The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome, but please register them also.

We take our responsibility as NSA Kids volunteers seriously, therefore volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer application, safety training and Criminal Record Check before serving on Sundays.

We hope you’re having an amazing summer. We are already preparing and looking forward to a wonderful fall at NSA Kids!

This year we are starting a new registration process for NSA Kids. As our ministry grows, we feel it is very important to have the most recent contact and medical information. This helps us ensure the safety of all our children. Our goal is to have all families who regularly attend NSAC pre-register your child/ren before September 8th. This form should be user friendly and only take 10 minutes to complete. 

The Amazing Race is an NSA Preteen Ministry event open to all of our grade 5, 6 and 7 students! It will be hosted in the church parking lot and surrounding area from 7-9pm on Friday, September 12th.

Keep in mind, this a mostly outdoor event. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight! Comfy shoes are highly recommended! Come ready to race!! We can't wait to see you there!

Everyone must register in advance and space is limited, so please sign up before Friday, September 12th.

Mark your calendars for our Connect Brunch on Wednesday, Sept 17th at 9:30am. All women are welcome to attend!  Come enjoy conversation and delicious food, and hear about the new study we'll be starting this fall. Please bring some food to share.

Calling all NSA High School Youth!! Join us for an AMAZING weekend at Green Bay Bible Camp!

Anyone in grade 8 to 12 can attend the Green Bay Youth Retreat on September 19-21, 2025. We will meet at the church at 4:00pm on Friday and board a bus to Westbank, and we'll return by bus to the church around 7:30pm on Sunday.

Registration closes on Wednesday September 17th at midnight, but please sign up long before then!

$170 per student (contact Megan if you're in need of a scholarship!)
Note: $70 is non-refundable if you decide to cancel after September 10th. No refunds after September 18th.

Cost Includes: accommodation, meals (Friday snack through Sunday lunch), transportation, wakeboarding / tubing and all other activities.

Inviting youth of the North Shore to encounter Jesus' love in a fun, welcoming & life-changing community! Our ministry reaches out to grade 8-12 students on the North Shore. We gather together as a large group at the church on Wednesday Nights @ 7pm for worship, games, teaching, small group discussion and snacks during the school year. Youth Wednesday Nights will start on September 10th!

REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR NSA PRETEENS 2025/26

NSAC’s Preteen Ministry is for Grade 5, 6, & 7 students. We want to provide space for preteens to learn about God, build strong friendships and have fun! We'd love to have your preteens join us!

Preteen Sunday mornings will start on Sept 14th, and our first event is Amazing Race on Friday, Sept 12th!

Pastor Megan is looking for several new AMAZING leaders to join the NSA Youth Leadership Team!!

NSA Youth exists to "invite youth of the North Shore to encounter Jesus' love in a fun, welcoming & life-changing community".  If our vision resonates with you... you gotta join us! We're looking specifically for people who LOVE Jesus and have a heart for discipling young people. There are variety of roles including Small Group Leaders, Co-Leaders, Tech Team, Prayer Team, and Youth "Grandparents" (60+). (You also need to have Wednesday nights free!)

To grow our experience of community and to provide some rest for staff and volunteers this summer, we will have one service at 10 am each Sunday from July 27th through August 31st. This will also be a great opportunity to connect with people in our congregation who regularly attend a different service than you!

Nursery (Babies to 24 months) and Children's Ministry (Preschool to Grade 4) will continue to be available each week.
