We will be starting our second Growing Deeper topic on the spiritual practice of using Scripture this coming Monday from 7:15 - 8:45 PM. It will run for five weeks, and we have room for more people to join us!

The goal is to help us develop good habits to grow deeper in our walk with Christ.

The practices we will cover include:
- Reading Scripture (Nov 9)
- Meditating on Scripture (Nov 16)
- Studying Scripture (Nov 23)
- Memorizing Scripture (Dec 7)
- Wrap Up, review, and application (Dec 14)

NSA Preteens (grades 5-7) will gather at the church on Friday, November 20th for some glow-in-the-dark FUN!

It’s never too early to instil a passion for prayer in your kids and How to Pray: A Guide for Young Explorers is full of whimsical cartoons and fun, practical activities to help kids and entire families to grow in the most important, most amazing relationship of their lives.

We have a few copies of the book to borrow in the library or buy a copy for your family! We're excited to talk about this book and do a Christmas craft together.

Operation Christmas Child reaches out to children around the world in desperate situations, bringing joy and hope through gift-filled shoeboxes, reminding them that they are loved and not forgotten.

Shoeboxes are available in the foyer on Sundays and during the week. Filled shoeboxes must be returned to the church by Sunday, Nov 22nd.

Our annual Lamplighters Christmas Luncheon will be held downstairs at the church on Monday, November 30th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. This month's speaker is Pastor Brendan Dick.

If you are 55 or older, you are warmly invited to enjoy a delicious, fully catered turkey dinner and wonderful fellowship. Whether you are a regular attendee or have never joined us before, we would love to welcome you!

Tickets are $25 per person. Registration and payment will take place in the church foyer on Sunday, November 15th and Sunday, November 22nd, before and after the 9:00 am service. If you are unable to register in person, you can reserve a spot by emailing odoo@shaw.ca before 7:00 pm on November 23rd. Friends are welcome, but please ensure each guest is registered in advance. 

We look forward to celebrating the Christmas season together with good food, fellowship, a speaker and a few songs!
