The 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on
Sunday, October 18th, at 1:00pm in the Church Sanctuary.

The business of the meeting will include: the presentation of the financial statements, the election of Elders, the election of lay members to the Nominating Committee, and voting on a resolution to amend the Constitution and Bylaws. There will also be an opportunity for questions following the business of the meeting. 

The 2026 Annual Report, Reviewed Financial Statements, and documents related to the proposed Constitution and Bylaws updates will be emailed to the Membership list on Sunday. Printed copies will be available upon request. Contact the church office at info@nsac.bc.ca or 604-984-6422.

Using the NEW Alpha Youth series, Cereal Sundays will provide a fun, relaxed, low-pressure environment where teens can ask questions & explore their faith over big ol' sugary bowls of breakfast!

Cereal Sundays will include: breakfast, a short video, time to discuss, and plenty of opportunity to build friendships! Come right in as soon as you get to church, or wait until you're dismissed after worship.

Kickoff: THIS SUNDAY!! Sept. 27th, 2026
Following Dates: The third Sunday of every month (10 sessions)
Time: 9am OR 11am (each service is just over an hour!)
Location: NSAC, Fireside Room (Downstairs)

We are pleased to be welcoming Dr. Quentin Genuis as guest speaker at our morning services on Sunday, October 4th.

We'll pause our current series and Dr. Genuis will share a sermon titled “LORD, That I Might See: Medical Ethics, Vulnerable Neighbours, and the Light of the Gospel.”

Dr. Quentin Genuis is an emergency physician and ethicist at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He serves as the physician ethicist for Providence Health Care and is Sessional Faculty at Regent College in Vancouver, where he teaches on topics including medical ethics and addiction.

We look forward to hearing from Dr. Genuis as he helps us consider these important issues through the light of the Gospel.

Our next Baptism Service will be on Sunday, November 15.

We will be having child dedications at our services on Sunday, Nov 1st. Child dedication is an opportunity to thank God for the precious gift of your child, and publicly declare your intentions to raise them in a Christian home. It is also an opportunity to pray for our children asking God to guide their steps and pursue them all the days of their lives.

JESUS IS THE LIGHT!

Performance will take place on:
Sunday December 20th at 7:00pm (NSAC)

Registration is open at the link below! We hope all children that attend NSA Kids and Preteens will sign up as soon as possible so we can order their t-shirts for the concert.

Most of the practices will occur during Sunday serices, starting November 8th. Please plan to attend as many Sunday services as possible before the performance.

Our parking lot can get busy on Sunday mornings. To help keep everyone safe and ensure access for those who need it, we ask that you please observe the following:

- Park in designated spaces only

- Please do not park along the through lane/fire exit on the south side of the parking lot. This area must remain clear for the HandyDART to drop off and pick up congregants, as well as for fire trucks and ambulances in case of an emergency.

- If you are able, please consider parking on the surrounding streets and leave the parking lot spaces available for visitors, those with mobility issues, and families with young children.
