There will be a Special Meeting of Members this Sunday, November 23, at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, between our morning services.

At this meeting, we’ll be asking the members to consider and vote on a proposal from the Board seeking authorization to use up to $300,000 of existing church funds to provide a housing loan to our Lead Pastor. 

Everyone is welcome to attend and hear more about the proposal. Please note that only active members are eligible to vote. We hope you’ll join us for this important and exciting conversation about how we can continue to support our pastoral leadership and shape the future of our church community.

Operation Christmas Child reaches out to children around the world in desperate situations, bringing joy and hope through gift-filled shoeboxes, reminding them that they are loved and not forgotten.  Filled shoeboxes must be returned to the church by THIS SUNDAY, November 23rd.

North Shore Alliance Church, in partnership with local businesses and nonprofits, hosts an annual Christmas Dinner at Carson Graham Secondary for people who are lonely, unable to afford a dinner, or are new to our country.  

GIFT CARDS
We are asking for donations of $25 gift cards to Superstore, Save-On-Foods, Walmart, and Tim Hortons that will be given to dinner guests. Please drop off donations to the church office or contact Pastor Dave for more info: daves@nsac.bc.ca

**Please note that some volunteer opportunities will take place at Carson Graham Secondary School on December 13th, and some opportunities will take place on other days and in other locations.**

Would you like to learn more about mental health? Would you value connecting with others? Sign up for The Sanctuary Course and explore a topic that is more relevant than ever. Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges.

There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read the short sessions in the course book before each group gathering.

Space is limited! Please sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot. There will be a waitlist available if more than 20 people register. Because there is limited space, please only sign up if you are available to attend a minimum of 6 out of the 8 sessions.

Join us with your kids for a fun morning celebrating the birth of Jesus! We will have a Bible story, craft, snack, and lots of time to play.

Come out to the party dressed up in your finest winter wear & make sure to bring your friends as we enjoy an evening of dinner, dessert, games, prizes and more! All students in grades 8-12 are welcome! Dinner is TBA. Please bring a dessert to share!
