Sunday Service Update
Updated Protocols for Sunday Services (Starting Mar 11th, 2022)In light of the Provincial changes effective March 11, we will no longer be limiting our services to 50% capacity, and nor will we require masks for our worship gatherings. Throughout the Covid season, NSA has been a church that attempts to hold a middle line between Covid-extremes. Our policies have been chiefly governed by a sense of care for our community. While we rejoice in this relaxation of restrictions, we also recognize that this long season of extraordinary health precautions will doubtless leave many of our members with a lingering sense of caution. Therefore, if you feel more comfortable masking when coming to church, your mask will be welcome. If you feel comfortable without a mask at church, we request that you treat people who wear masks with courtesy and kindness. Pastors Jeremy Rios and Dave Sattler For more infomation visit:

Support for Ukraine
When the invasion of Ukraine started, the flood of refugees began to pour into Poland. Polish church leadership have shared news of the massive endeavor to welcome and care for these refugees. And as a result, every possible location is being used to house, clothe and feed the people who have fled the bombing and destruction. The Alliance Canada - Support for Ukrainian RefugeesThe Alliance Canada's National Ministry Centre is set up to receive donations for Ukraine relief. The NMCs first response will be through the national church body, The Church of Christ in Poland. They have a department called Good Works Mission that will oversee the relief response. Bill Finnemore, a former International Worker in Poland, is well connected with the leaders there, and will be our liaison. He spoke with the director of the Good Works Mission department and learned that the national church campground, Ostróda Camp, is currently providing temporary housing for 180 refugees and they are planning to set up shelters for many more. Local churches are preparing to distribute food and necessary hygiene supplies as a first response. Make a DonationIf you would like to join the relief effort, here are two options: 1.) Click here to donate online 2.) Designate on your offering envelope "Alliance Global Emergency Response Fund, Ukraine Relief". For more infomation visit:

Parking Update
You may notice some new signs up in our parking lot! We are loving our neighbours by sharing our parking lot with the nearby North Van Rec Centres and Centennial Theatre until mid-June. Please feel free to continue parking in any available spot on Sunday mornings. During the week, those with mobility issues can park in the front near the church, and we encourage others to park in row 6 or above. |
Financial Update
We are grateful to you, and to God, for the ongoing generosity of your giving. At the end of the 2021 calendar year, we received some unexpected financial gifts. We will be seeking God’s direction in how to use these funds to further the ministry of North Shore Alliance both locally and globally. If you have any questions about the finances at NSAC, please contact Tami Cooke at tamic@nsac.bc.ca |
