Join us in caring for God's creation by bringing your own reusable mug to church on Sunday mornings!  NSAC would like to significantly reduce the number of disposable cups being used each week and we need your help to make it happen!

Join us for an easy, simple class helpful for daily activities, stress reduction, and increasing your flexibility. All fitness levels are welcome!

The focus will be on stretching for better range of motion and less stress on joints. Included will be breathing and body-weight core movements for proper posture and back care.

Our next Connect study will begin on Wednesday, January 10th at 9:30am. We will be doing a book study of "None Like Him - 10 Ways God is Different From Us" by Jen Wilkin.

Our 2024 Young Adult's Retreat will be held January 13th - 14th at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre.

Come join us! In the quiet winter season, let's reorient towards Jesus and ground ourselves again in him. 

We'll carpool to Loon Lake Lodge, where we'll stay for 1 night. There will be optional prayer, worship, and reflection sessions, and free time to explore the beautiful Loon Lake forest. Meals and accommodation provided.  

Anyone age 18 - 30 is welcome to attend! 
Cost is $90 per person.

About the course:
The Sanctuary Course is an eight-part course for small groups designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. It offers communities a base of shared knowledge and the opportunity to discover a common language for talking about mental health.

Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges.

There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read the short sessions in the course book before each group gathering.

Because there is limited space, please only sign up if you are available to attend a minimum of 6 out of the 8 sessions.

Connect at Night is for all women who regularly attend NSAC.  Our next gathering is Monday, January 29th, 7-8:30pm at the church.

There will be time to connect with other women, hear stories of "Resilient Faith", and share in small groups. We hope you'll join us, and please bring your favourite mug!

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life, faith, and God in a relaxed, low pressure environment.

What is my purpose? Is Jesus still relevant?
Is God present in my loneliness?
How can I have hope?

Where can I ask these questions?

Alpha provides a space to ask all your questions about life, faith, and meaning in a friendly environment with people who, like you, want to explore.

Each Alpha session includes a short video, time to connect, and plenty of time to discuss. The course is 11 sessions.
