Missions SpotlightLazarus Community House John Sawyer and Simon Walmsley serve as Community Pastors sharing faith, hope, and love with those experiencing housing and food insecurity on the margins of our North Shore community. With compassionate hearts and a Christ-centred mission, John and Simon walk alongside individuals seeking transformation and healing. Simon's role focuses on helping men overcome personal barriers through personalized recovery and restoration programs built upon Christian principles and his own framework, "7 Principles to a Transformed Life." Through this ministry, many have found not only practical support but also the renewing power of God's love -- leading them toward a sustained, fulfilling, and healthy life in Christ. Prayer Focus: Please join us in praying for the men at the Community House -- that through their individual programs, they may grow, achieve their goals, and gain the independence needed to move forward with hope and purpose. Pray that they may come to know the Lord and walk in His ways Also, please pray for good health and strength for those who serve and support the Community House, so that this ministry of care and transtormation may continue to flourish. |
