Our family services at 4:00 & 5:30pm will feature special elements including a Christmas play and children's choir! There will also be Christmas carols and a short message.

Doors will open 20 minutes before the start of each service.

The 4:00pm service will be live streamed at www.nsac.bc.ca/live, and the recorded video will be available on our Sermons page following the service.

Our candlelight service at 7:00pm will include music, scripture, reflective prayer, and a short message from Pastor Jeremy.

Doors will open 20 minutes before the start of the service.

We invite you to join us online at www.nsac.bc.ca/live for our Christmas Day service including a short message, scripture reading, prayer, and Christmas carols.

The pre-recorded service will be available starting at 9am.  Please note, there is no in-person service on Christmas Day.

Please note the following changes to our regular office hours:

* The office will be open 9am-4pm on December 19th to 23rd.

* The church will be closed over the holidays from
December 25th to January 2nd.

We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd at 9am
for regular office hours.

On January 1st we will have one Sunday service at 10 am, both in person and online at www.nsac.bc.ca/live.  Everyone is welcome to attend! 

Children age 2+ are invited to attend with their parents, and the nursery will be open for children under 2.

Connect Small Groups for Women

Our next study will begin on Wednesday, January 11th at 9:30am. We will be doing a book study of "In His Image: 10 Ways God Calls Us To Reflect His Character" by Jen Wilkens.

About the course:
The Sanctuary Course is an eight-part course for small groups designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. It offers communities a base of shared knowledge and the opportunity to discover a common language for talking about mental health.

Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges.

Cost: $10 for printed course book  (or download the PDF for free)

Join Pastor Jeremy for a 5-week reading group on "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis.

Friday Nights, January 20 to February 10
7-9pm, Location TBA

There is no cost to attend, but you will need to bring your own copy of the book (any edition).  

If you prefer audio books, or would enjoy listening as you read, you can find "The Screwtape Letters narrated by John Cleese" on YouTube.

Please sign up in advance to receive further details from Jeremy, and so that we can determine an appropriate location for the group to meet.

Connect at Night is for all women who regularly attend NSAC.  Our next gathering is Monday, January 23rd, 7-8:30pm at the church.

There will be time to connect with other women, hear stories of "Resilient Faith", and share in small groups. We hope you'll join us, and please bring your favourite mug!

Tax receipts for 2022 donations will be issued in early February.  To be eligible towards 2022 giving, all donations must be received by the church office or be post-marked no later than December 31, 2022.

The church offices will be closed from December 25-January 2nd, reopening on Tuesday January 3rd.  If you prefer to drop off a donation in person, please do so by 5pm on Friday December 23rd, or at the Christmas Eve Services. 

(Note: On Sunday, Dec 25th there will be an online service only, the church building will not be open.)

Donations found in the Canada Post mailbox when the office reopens in January will be applied to 2022 tax receipts as long as the post mark is December 31 or earlier.  Paypal and e-Transfer donations can be made until midnight PST on December 31st.
