This Sunday, October 13th we are having a special Thanksgiving Family Service at 9 & 11 am.  All kids age 2 and older are invited to attend church and sit with their parents/guardians.  Pastor Brendan will be leading the service and including elements that will invite the children’s participation!  

The parents' room will be open for those with children 0-24 months old. 

This Tuesday, we are excited to hold a Day of Prayer for NSA and the next steps in our lead pastor search. Prayer and inviting the Spirit into these steps is crucial!

PRAYER ROOM (30 min sessions, 6:30am-7pm)

There are several spots still available in the Prayer Room!  
Please click on the "register" button to sign up for a 30 minute session.  Only one name is required to reserve your time, but you are welcome to bring your friend(s), family, or small group to pray with you.

CORPORATE PRAYER & WORSHIP (6:30am, 12pm, 7pm)

We will also have the sanctuary open in the day and will hold three corporate prayer and worship times facilitated by the pastoral team at 6:30am, 12pm, and 7pm. Please mark the day and join together as a church family in prayer.

Mall Merriment is an event open to all our grade 5, 6 and 7 students. The Preteens will participate in a scavenger-hunt-style jaunt with their preteen leaders!

We will be meeting at Park Royal Shopping Centre from 7 to 9pm on Friday, October 18th, 2024. Drop off and Pick up outside the Home Sense at Park Royal Village.

Everyone must register in advance, so please sign up your preteens (Grade 5, 6 and 7 only) before Friday morning. Friends are always welcome but they must be signed up by Friday morning as well!

Please dress for the weather and come ready to hunt (comfy shoes are a must)!  

Join us for our NSA Kids Family Potluck evening! This is a wonderful chance for our church families to connect with one another and have fun together. Bring a dish to share (nut-free) that your family loves. We will enjoy a potluck style dinner, and then play some games together.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting will be on Sunday, October 20th, at 7pm in the Church Sanctuary.

Business at the AGM will include the presentation of financial statements, election of elders, and election of nominating committee members. The 2024 Annual Report and Reviewed Financial Statements have been emailed to the Membership list and printed copies will be made available upon request (info@nsac.bc.ca or 604-984-6422).

The Nominating Committee presents three new candidates for the position of NSAC Elder: Wendy Cheng, John Elliott, and Dev Hildebrand; and one current Elder up for re-election to another two years of service: Clive Harvey. Their biographies, along with those of the elders in the middle of their service term, are available in the Annual Report.

Gentlemen, join us for a weekend of worship, teaching, feasting, rest, and fun! It's a great time to go deeper with God and with each other. 

Our 2024 Men's Retreat will be held November 1-3 at Camp Squeah in Hope, BC (new location this year). Come spend a weekend getting away from the city and connecting with other guys in our community. 

Cost is $200.  Scholarships are available. Early Bird discount ($15 off) is available until October 10th.

Cancellation Policy: 
$80 is non-refundable if you cancel after October 23rd. No refunds after November 1st.

SAVE THE DATE! Our next Boys, Brews and Bibles will be Monday, November 18th.

In loving remembrance of Jim Ewart, there will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, October 26th at 1:00pm.  Reception to follow.

We extend heartfelt condolences to the Ewart family. Jim was a long-time member of NSAC, and his presence in our community is sorely missed. We pray that God's love will surround you and bring you comfort and peace in the days and weeks ahead.

Connect at Night is for all women who regularly attend NSAC.  Our next gathering is Monday, October 28th, 7-8:30pm at the church.

There will be time to connect with other women, hear stories of "Resilient Faith", and share in small groups. We hope you'll join us, and please bring your favourite mug!
